Felicia began knitting at the age of 17, after watching a cousin knit a baby sweater in one sitting. "Man, I 'gotta learn to do that!," became her mission and that led to a lifelong love of fiber arts and fine crafts. As a successful radio announcer (teri webb of New York's WRKS-FM, WBLS-FM, and Philadelphia's Smooth Jazz WJJZ 106.1), there was always time to knit between records. Over the years, she designed items for adults, children, and even pets! "My cat Nala, is my best critic, giving me the icy stare when an item needs work." After taking a break from radio, Felicia, launched djfleesh handknits in order to devote her energies to her love of knitting. With encouragement from her husband Bill, and her sister Tracey, who handles marketing, promotion, and even works the needles herself, djfleesh promises a little something for the entire family.
