3=3.25mm

7=4.5mm

15=10mm

17=12mm

Can’t find your stitch holder? Run a length of yarn (in a contrasting color) through the live stitches with a yarn needle. It’ll do in a pinch.

Ideal Items for Your Knitting Bag:

Small Pair of Scissors or Knitter’s Snips

Tape Measure

Stitch Markers

Safety Pins and Blocking Pins

Pencil and Pad of Paper

Yarn Needles

Crochet Hook

It’s a pain, but you really must check the gauge, it will save you time.

Don’t have stitch markers? Use an old “dangly” earring, or an old hoop earring.

First row too tight to knit after the cast on? Use a larger needle to cast on, then resume the work on the proper sized needle.

Can’t find your cable needle? Use a double pointed needle in the same size as those you are working with.

To save lots of time, read the entire pattern first, gather all of your materials, and then begin to knit your project.

Don’t want to ruin your pattern? Make a photocopy that you can make your notes on and slip into a plastic page protector.
